THE NEW MILLENNIAL TRAVEL TREND
What hotels don’t know about their market: The Millennials
Mil·len·nial /miˈlenēəl/ – a person reaching adulthood in the early 21st century
The biggest audience in travel today are the Millennials. Born between 1981 to 1997, this generation (Y) are the ones hotels should be paying attention to. They are adventure seekers, in love with the outdoors and has the need to be always connected to the internet.
Of course, in this blog, I always try to help accommodations to reach their full potential by giving them the real deal about what millennials really want.
In here, you will find the best hotels I stayed in. Although they are fancy, take note that young travelers are slowly ditching the hostel no matter how cheap it is and slowly switching to luxury accommodations. Believe me, we will save for it!
FEATURED LUXURY ACCOMMODATIONS
If you are in Tangier, you need to have a sea view accommodation. Sure, the Medina will be a good pick (not saying it’s not) but don’t you want to be away from the hustle that you are already encountering every day when traveling Morocco? Kenzi Solazur is the best option!
What hotels are missing nowadays is the ivy league hospitality. No one exerts the effort anymore because, you know… ‘5-star’. Personally, I don’t care about amenities when choosing a hostel to stay in. What matters to me is the relationship given to me by the staff and the non-lazy helpfulness that they offer in order to make my stay comfortable and easy. Value for money always boils down to good service, no matter how ‘5-star’ a hotel is. The Sidi Maarouf in Casablanca is by far, the only one who met that Ivy League hospitality.
